I’ve talked about clever doorknobs before and my interest in them is primarily because they are the perfect example of how innovation can happen even in something as mundane and established a concept as doorknobs, and that keeps me in awe of the possibilities that lie before us when innovation happens in more active areas with really gnarly problems like Technology, Transportation or Medicine.

Given this, it’s only natural that I was excited to find this very clever doorknob by Arnaud Lapierre that locks itself along with the door when you close it. How does it work? Here it is in pictures…
